I had to get this done. It was due.. next period. Fuck. I try to type faster, fingers flying across the keyboard as I get closer to the thousand word count that I had to have for my story for AP English. The past few days, I'd put it off and put it off until, well, I got here. Typing furiously in an attempt to get an A+. I'd done this before, and I'd always hated myself for it.. but I still procrastinated. Finally I straighten, pushing my black hair out of my face. 1001 words. Yes. I silently pump my fist into the air, glad that no one was around. I spell check and then print it, getting out of my chair to walk over, tapping my fingers along the table it sat on before pulling the papers out. I staple them and then look at the neon clock on the wall- I had thirty minutes to kill until I had to get to class. I sigh to myself and walk over to sit back down, pulling out my English binder to put my story away before re-zipping my book bag. Maybe a nap.

"I'm sure we aren't the only one's who procrastinated," I said with a shrug of the shoulders to my closest friend as we stepped into the library. Truth be told, I was done with my paper, but I wanted her to be more comfortable. We had to help each other, but she didn't know the truth. No one knew my grades; if they did, my reputation would be ruined. I'm sure teachers rattle their head for an explanation on how I can balance my very demanding social life with my ever so important education. It wasn't all that hard for me, which meant I signed myself for all AP classes. I pretended to type an essay as me and my friend sat shoulder to shoulder at seprate computers. Actually, I turned my essay in the week it was assigned. The bell rang, which brought on a groan from me and my friend. My eyes looked over at the male who seemed to be passed out in the middle of the library. Stifling a giggle, I made my way towards the unconscious body. "Hey, sweetheart, the bell has rang." I turned and made my way back to my friend. "Well, there's my community service for the day," I said, recieving a laugh in response. I didn't admit to her how cute I thought he was; no one would believe me if I said it.

I could've sworn I only put my head down fora moment. I start awake as someone shakes my shoulder, their voice reaching my ears. I push my hair out of my face, watching her walk away. Cassidy, in my AP English class. I was pretty sure. I jump to and sling my bag over my shoulder, bounding after them. "Thanks for waking me up, if I'd stayed there I'd be fucked." I snicker, shaking my head at myself with a smirk.
