OVERALL PERSONALITY;; McKenzie is quiet, kind, sweet and smart, pretty much above all else. She’s caring about other people, and a decent human being in general, no matter the person. She’s loyal until the end, and would never betray the trust of a friend or anyone else. She enjoys walks, especially in parks and through anywhere with nice plants. She also enjoys painting occasionally, though doesn’t find herself very good. McKenzie is also rather religious, and a rather devout Christian. She actually finds some enjoyment in studying, and playing games like chess or Go. She likes the outside and has a bedroom on the second floor of her house, so it’s not uncommon for her to climb out and sit on the roof, especially on warm nights. She doesn’t have a lot of people she talks to at school, and just tries to get through with a few good friends and move on with her days.
OVERALL HISTORY;; McKenzie was born as the youngest of three children, her oldest brother (Joseph) being three years older, and her older sister (Mary) being one year older than her. Her father was a politician, her mother was a doctor. Her early life has little of note until she was five years old.
When she turned five, Joseph was killed in a car accident. Her father left his work and turned to drinking, eventually committing suicide three years later. Her mother was alone, working hard in her depression and almost ignoring Mary and McKenzie. Mary took care of both of them, despite only being one year older. She helped them both through school as best as she could.
McKenzie loved Mary dearly, and even only being one year younger, looked to her practically as a mother figure. Mary returned this view almost in turn due to her responsibilities being as such. But due to her own problems with her own life, and taking care of McKenzie, along with the continued knowledge of Joseph and their father in the back of her head, and the mother that practically abandoned them, Mary ran away from home, finding it hard to do. McKenzie never understood how she could, with their relationship. But she had, leaving McKenzie alone at the age of twelve.
McKenzie’s mother took notice, and started to take more care of McKenzie. McKenzie noted that she never did anything about Mary, and talked as if she were dead, which upset and angered McKenzie. McKenzie turned to prayer and God at this point in her life, finding a solace there. She shut herself away with prayer and study.
Her mother eventually had to give McKenzie away to her aunt and uncle; her godparents. She enrolled into Ramad High School when she was a junior, only now being in her second year as a senior and just waiting to be finished.
